Lelaki warga Myanmar ditahan disyaki bunuh isteri di Ipoh

IPOH: Seorang lelaki warga Myanmar telah ditahan selepas disyaki membunuh isterinya di sebuah rumah di Kampung Kuala Kuang, Chemor.

Ketua Polis Daerah Ipoh ACP Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad menyatakan suspek berusia 37 tahun itu ditahan pada pukul 3.40 petang.

Polis menemui isteri suspek dalam keadaan tidak sedarkan diri di rumah berkenaan.

Sebelum itu, polis menerima panggilan pada kira-kira 12.30 tengah hari daripada seorang lelaki yang memaklumkan tentang wanita warga Myanmar berusia 28 tahun tidak sedarkan diri.

Lelaki tersebut meminta bantuan untuk menghubungi ambulans ke lokasi kejadian.

Sepasukan anggota polis dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Ipoh kemudiannya tiba di tempat kejadian.

Siasatan awal mendapati wanita itu telah meninggal dunia dengan kesan cekik di leher mangsa.

Mayat mangsa telah dihantar ke Jabatan Forensik Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh untuk bedah siasat.

Pihak polis masih menjalankan siasatan lanjut bagi mengenal pasti motif sebenar kejadian.

Kes ini disiasat mengikut Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan kerana membunuh. – Bernama
