Identiti mayat terapung di Sungai Jertih dikenal pasti

JERTIH: Identiti mayat lelaki lengkap berpakaian yang ditemukan terapung di Sungai Jertih dekat Masjid Hadhari, di sini kira-kira pukul 9 pagi tadi disahkan sebagai Mohd Azlim Yusof, 51, dari Tembila, Kampung Raja, di sini.

Ketua Polis Daerah Besut Supt Abdul Rozak Muhammad berkata pengecaman telah dilakukan ahli keluarga mangsa di Unit Forensik Hospital Besut.

“Bedah siasat terhadap mangsa telah selesai pada 2.30 petang tadi dan punca kematiannya ialah unascertained, namun tiada unsur jenayah. Kes diklasifikasikan sebagai mati mengejut,” katanya dalam kenyataan malam ini.

Beliau berkata mangsa dikatakan tinggal seorang diri di sebuah bilik yang disediakan pihak Masjid Hadhari sejak beberapa tahun lepas kerana kesempitan hidup.

Terdahulu, polis menerima laporan penemuan mayat berpakaian lengkap dengan kain pelikat itu pada 9.30 pagi daripada seorang lelaki yang sedang memancing.
