Muhammad Sanusi mohon ampun kepada Sultan Selangor

ALOR SETAR: Menteri Besar Kedah Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor hari ini memohon ampun kepada Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah berikutan kenyataan beliau pada Julai tahun lepas yang dianggap menghina dan tidak menghormati baginda.

Bercakap dalam sidang media selepas mempengerusikan Mesyuarat Exco di sini hari ini, Muhammad Sanusi turut memohon maaf kepada Menteri Besar Selangor Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari dan rakyat negeri itu atas keterlanjuran kata-kata beliau.

“Patik menyedari bahawa kata-kata patik telah menimbulkan rasa tidak selesa dan telah menggores hati dan perasaan Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Sultan Selangor dan patik benar-benar kesal atas segala kesan negatif yang timbul daripada kenyataan patik tersebut.

“Patik ingin menyembah maklum kepada Tuanku Sultan bahawa tiada niat di hati patik untuk mempersendakan Tuanku Sultan yang amat patik hormati dan sanjungi selama ini,” katanya.

Muhammad Sanusi turut berjanji untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam membuat kenyataan pada masa akan datang dan memastikan setiap ucapan beliau selaras dengan adab sopan serta budaya Melayu yang sentiasa menjunjung tinggi Raja-Raja Melayu dan Institusi Raja.

Pada 11 Julai 2023, tular video ceramah Muhammad Sanusi yang didakwa menghina Sultan Selangor ketika membandingkan urusan pelantikan beliau sebagai Menteri Besar Kedah dan Amirudin sebagai Menteri Besar Selangor dalam satu ceramah di Gombak.

Pada 29 Feb lepas, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Jeneri itu mengekalkan pengakuan tidak bersalah beliau terhadap dua pertuduhan menghasut berhubung pelantikan Menteri Besar Selangor dan penubuhan Kerajaan Perpaduan dalam satu ceramah politik.
