Perak rider’s kindness: Photos of ailing father for worried daughter

A woman shares how a delivery rider’s kindness helped her check on her stroke-stricken father, moving netizens.

AN act of kindness by a delivery rider recently went viral after he went out of his way to help a customer.

Now circulating widely on Threads, a woman shared how the rider took the trouble to photograph her ailing father while delivering food to their home.

According to screenshots attached to the post, the woman had requested a photo of her father, who is a stroke patient, as she missed him. She also alleged that her stepmother had been unresponsive regarding her father’s condition.

In her post, she said this was not the first time her father had been left alone at home without a phone, despite his medical condition.

“Can you imagine — it’s been almost 20 years and my father still cannot walk. Other people’s fathers who suffered strokes were able to walk again after just one or two years.

“My stepmother is now refusing to answer my calls or reply to my messages after I confronted her for leaving my father alone and then going to Kuala Lumpur,” she wrote.

While the delivery rider’s gesture touched many online, netizens also expressed sadness over the woman’s situation, with some urging her to consider hiring a caregiver to ensure her father’s well-being.
