Proving this, a group of friends has captured hearts online with their determination to study at a laundry in Johor Bahru.
In a Threads post, Intan Maria Ahmad shared CCTV footage from her own laundry, showing three friends using the tables and chairs for group study.
“When I checked the laundry’s CCTV and saw children studying there, it made me want to buy comfortable chairs for them. It feels like this laundry is really useful for them,” she wrote.
Since it is SPM examination season, Intan assumes the students are in Form 5, preparing for the important public exams.
“May this laundry benefit the local community, Inshallah,” she added.
Netizens have expressed their admiration for the students’ dedication to studying hard regardless of their surroundings.
Jauhar Nadia commented that the quiet environment of the laundry is exactly what the students need to focus on.
Another user added that the laundry is a safe place, as it has CCTV surveillance for the children.
