The Rancakkan MADANI event in Putrajaya offers jobs, services and activities, with Deputy PMs set to discuss government reforms.
PUTRAJAYA: Approximately 300,000 people are expected at Dataran Putrajaya this weekend for the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme and the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar said the event offers a wide range of services and activities for all.
“Bring your families,“ he told reporters after a promotional MRT ride from Cyberjaya to Putrajaya.
He said the programme runs from tomorrow until Sunday.
Shamsul Azri, who chairs the Rancakkan MADANI Steering Committee, highlighted diverse attractions.
These include activities for cat lovers and free haircuts.
The event will also give away 5,000 motorcycle helmets.
A total of 5,000 job vacancies across various sectors will be available during the three-day programme.
The convention’s highlight on Sunday will feature both Deputy Prime Ministers.
Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof will lead a key session.
Titled ‘MADANI Government: Retrospective and Mapping the Road Ahead’, it will discuss bureaucratic reform.
The session will also cover improvements in health, education and poverty eradication.
It will include public service perspectives on three years of the MADANI Government.
Rancakkan MADANI will showcase activities under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship.
Coordinated by the Foreign Ministry, these include a replica of the ASEAN Summit Dome.
Visitors can also explore highlights of Malaysia’s 2025 ASEAN leadership.
Interactive engagements for visitors are also planned. – Bernama
