The Rancakkan MADANI programme has attracted over 304,000 visitors, exceeding its three-day target as the government marks its third anniversary
PUTRAJAYA: The Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme has drawn an overwhelming public response, recording 304,107 visitors in its first two days.
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the final day’s good weather encouraged strong attendance from the morning.
“Alhamdulillah, the weather looks good,” he told Bernama on the sidelines of the event.
He noted initial concerns about holding an outdoor event during the monsoon season.
Fahmi said the programme is significant as it coincides with the third anniversary of the MADANI Government’s administration.
It also serves as the government’s annual platform for delivering direct reports to the people.
“We are all looking forward to the speech that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will deliver shortly,” he added.
The minister emphasised that the focus remains on the efforts that lie ahead.
The event continues the tradition of annual public reporting started by the MADANI Government.
It follows the ‘One Year with the MADANI Government’ and ‘Two Years with the MADANI Government’ events.
Held concurrently is the 2025 National Convention on Public Service Reform.
The convention brings together policy thinkers from the civil service and industry players.
Organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), the programme surpassed its initial three-day target of 300,000 attendees in just two days.
Visitor numbers are expected to continue rising on the final day. – Bernama
