Former KBS Deputy Minister Adam Adli signs off, appointed Higher Education Deputy Minister post-reshuffle
PUTRAJAYA: “The Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) is in good hands,” said former KBS deputy minister Adam Adli Abd Halim as he officially signed off from the role today.
Speaking to reporters, he thanked the media for their support throughout his tenure at the ministry.
Adam Adli, who served as deputy minister since 2022, has been appointed Higher Education Deputy Minister following the Cabinet reshuffle announced yesterday by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
His appointment has drawn renewed attention, as during the student activism wave of the early 2010s, Adam emerged as a prominent advocate for free education in Malaysia and actively campaigned for the abolition of PTPTN loans.
