KUALA LUMPUR CITY FC’S unbeaten Super League campaign ended emphatically with a 4-0 defeat to Johor Darul Ta’zim.
The match at Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium saw JDT open the scoring in the 28th minute through Cristian Glauder’s header from an Oscar Arribas corner.
Manuel Hidalgo doubled the lead just two minutes later by calmly slotting home a rebound.
Jairo Da Silva then struck a third goal during first-half injury time to give the visitors a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.
JDT maintained their offensive pressure throughout the second half.
Oscar Arribas completed the rout with a 73rd-minute goal, sealing a comprehensive 4-0 victory for the Southern Tigers.
The result keeps JDT firmly atop the league standings with a perfect 33 points from 11 matches.
