KUALA LUMPUR: PDRM FC held Kuala Lumpur City FC to a 1-1 draw in a Super League match at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.
The result denied the visitors valuable points in the title race.
PDRM took a surprise lead in the 12th minute through Kashim Oluwasegun, who finished from a Park Tae Su pass.
KL City pressed for an equaliser but saw efforts from Paulo Jasue and Muhammad Safawi Rasid go wide and be ruled offside respectively.
The visitors’ persistence was rewarded in the 63rd minute when Declan Lambert fired in a blistering shot to level the score.
The match concluded with both teams sharing the points.
The draw leaves PDRM at the bottom of the table with seven points.
KL City remains in third place with 30 points, behind second-placed Selangor FC.
