Held at Sentul from December 5-8, the inaugural tournament offers participants ranking points and national titles across five categories.

“We will introduce the national ranking system at this tournament and it is important to ensure that any international competition in the future is conducted through a transparent selection system,” he told a media conference.
“Through this system, the top-ranked players will be chosen to represent Malaysia at international championships.”
The tournament features men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles categories.
