South Korea election commission says presidential candidates can register from Friday

SEOUL South Korea's election commission said that presidential hopefuls could register from Friday.

After President Yoon Suk Yeol was ousted from office on Friday, a new presidential election must be held within 60 days.

A spokesperson for the election commission said once registered, a presidential hopeful could start campaigning.
