JDT forward Muhammad Haqimi Azim joins Terengganu FC on loan

Johor Darul Ta’zim loans forward Muhammad Haqimi Azim to Terengganu FC to bolster their attack for the Super League and Malaysia Cup campaigns.

KUALA NERUS: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) forward Muhammad Haqimi Azim Rosli has officially joined Terengganu FC (TFC) on loan.

The move was confirmed during the second transfer window of the 2025/2026 season.

Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed Bajrai said the national Under-23 player was brought in to help the Turtles squad through the remainder of the Super League campaign and the Malaysia Cup challenge, which runs until May.

He said Muhammad Haqimi Azim is expected to strengthen the attacking line, which is facing a critical situation after key import player Yan Mabella was floored by injury.

“TFC believes the quality he possesses will help improve the team’s performance, as we are currently in fifth place in the Super League,” he said in a statement.

“He has also expressed his determination to make the most of this opportunity to help Terengganu achieve success in every match.”
