ACGAS appoints Rosyam Nor and Erra Fazira as 2026 brand ambassadors to promote safer composite LPG cylinders and smart energy innovation in Malaysia.
ACGAS has named two of Malaysia’s most iconic celebrities, Dato’ Rosyam Nor and Erra Fazira, as its 2026 Brand Ambassadors, marking a new chapter in the company’s brand development and public engagement efforts.
ACGAS chief executive officer Nik Mohd Fareez Nik Ahmad Azman said the appointment aligns with the company’s mission to reshape public perception about domestic gas usage, particularly in relation to household safety.

“Gas related items contain concerns of family safety in addition to being a necessity,” he said.
He added that the involvement of both celebrities is expected to strengthen customer trust while promoting safer and more advanced gas solutions.
“Gas items include elements of family safety in addition to being necessities. With Rosyam Nor and Erra Fazira serving as brand ambassadors, we hope to strengthen the bond between the company and its customers through awareness of the safer and more advanced composite cylinder technology, trust, and confidence,” he stated.
The move is also seen as a strategic step in reinforcing ACGAS’s position as a provider of innovative, lightweight and safer composite LPG cylinders for the Malaysian market.

The newly developed cylinders are rust-free, easier to handle and designed to enhance safety in household kitchens.
As competition intensifies within the energy sector, ACGAS continues to refine its business strategies by focusing on product innovation and service digitalisation.
The company is actively encouraging the adoption of composite cylinders in the commercial sector while expanding the features of the ACGAS mobile app to help users manage gas supplies and purchases more efficiently.
Since its establishment, ACGAS has achieved several milestones, including pioneering the distribution of subsidised composite LPG cylinders and expanding its network across Peninsular Malaysia.
The company has also integrated Internet of Things (IoT) technology and RFID systems on each cylinder, enabling real-time inventory monitoring, distribution tracking and greater transparency in the refilling process to improve supply chain efficiency.

Looking ahead, ACGAS is pursuing further physical expansion through an investment partnership worth nearly RM100 million to develop a local composite cylinder manufacturing facility.
The plant is expected to position Malaysia as an export hub for the Asian market while strengthening ACGAS’s role as a strategic manufacturer and distributor in the LPG industry.
ACGAS aims to capture at least 10% of the Malaysian LPG market over the next five to ten years by gradually replacing conventional steel cylinders with composite alternatives. The company is also working towards a fully digitised “Smart Energy” ecosystem encompassing cylinder tracking and smart gas ordering.
“Our long-term goal is to establish composite cylinders as Malaysia’s new safety norm. Nik stated, “We want to ensure that people have access to more contemporary, safe, and high-quality products while driving a safety revolution in the use of LPG.”
