Motorists enjoyed toll-free travel since Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officially opened Section 1 on August 30.

The relief period allowed users to familiarise themselves with the new route and encouraged smoother traffic flow between Ampang, Hulu Langat, and Sungai Long.

Toll collection on EKVE Section 1 will be fully electronic using Touch ‘n Go cards, SmartTAG, and Radio Frequency Identification technology.

EKVE also advised motorists to observe all traffic regulations and directional signs at toll plazas for a smooth journey. Enquiries can be directed to the EKVE hotline at 1-300-88-3583. – Bernama
