Lorry crashes into stalls after forgetting to engage handbrake

THE driver of a truck collided into a row of stalls at AU2 Taman Keramat, close to Ulu Klang, on Wednesday after he forgot to use the handbrake.

The vehicle suddenly reversed and slammed into two roadside stalls.

The crash was said to have entirely damaged one of the beverage kiosks.

A guy yelling at the truck driver in the 47-second footage appears to be the owner of one of the damaged kiosks.

“What are you doing, driver? “Why did you not use the handbrake?” he cried out.

Nobody was harmed in the event, as far as is known. We also hear that the victims have reported something to the police.

Additionally, as of the time of publication, the truck driver has not yet filed a report, according to Ampang Jaya traffic police.

Netizens also drew attention to the dangers that street sellers may encounter and the necessity of raising public knowledge of safety precautions.

The local government forbids vendors from setting up shop by the road because to this (the occurrence). A user on X expressed concern that incidents similar to this may occur.

“The seller only wanted to put food on the table for his family, which included his wife and kids. There’s no need to accuse one another,“ another person commented.
