PSG confirm Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes will miss several weeks with injuries sustained in Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.
PARIS Saint-Germain face a significant injury crisis after three key players sustained injuries in Tuesday’s Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes are all expected to miss several weeks of action following the 2-1 loss.
Ballon d’Or winner Dembele was substituted after just 25 minutes with a calf injury that requires “a few weeks” of treatment.
Moroccan star Hakimi had to be helped from the field in tears following a challenge by Luis Diaz that resulted in a red card for the Bayern forward.

PSG confirmed Hakimi suffered a severely sprained left ankle and faces several weeks on the sidelines.
The injury creates additional concern for Hakimi’s availability for hosts Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations starting December 21.
Nuno Mendes completed the full 90 minutes against Bayern but subsequently sprained his left knee and joins his teammates in the treatment room.
These new absences compound PSG’s existing injury problems that already included Desire Doue.
Doue was stretchered off with a thigh problem during last week’s Ligue 1 match at Lorient. – AFP
