Terengganu FC trail JDT eight points after goalless draw with Sabah FC

KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu FC missed the opportunity to collect three full points after being held to a 0-0 draw by Sabah FC at Sultan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Kuala Terengganu yesterday.

The Turtles are eight points behind Super League leaders Johor Darul Ta’zim in second place in the league with 31 points after recording nine wins in 16 matches.

Meanwhile, at Darul Makmur Stadium, Kuantan, hosts, Sri Pahang FC edged PJ City FC 1-0.

The solitary goal by Dollah Salleh’s team was scored by Aung Kaung Mann in the 15th minute, placing the team in ninth place in the league behind PJ City FC.

In the Premier League, PDRM FC tied 0-0 with FAM-MSN Project Squad at Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, Cheras near here.

Meanwhile, the match between Johor Darul Ta’zim II (JDT II) and Kelantan United FC ended with a 3-0 victory for the hosts at Tan Sri Dato ‘Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin.

JDT II’s two goals were scored by Fernando Rodriguez Ortega in the 16th and 61st minutes before Muhamad Alif Abdul Mutalib’s solo attempt yielded the third goal in the 86th minute. –Bernama
