Dewan Rakyat will discuss MLFF implementation, MTSB formation, and national security measures during today’s parliamentary session
KUALA LUMPUR: The Multi-Lane Fast Flow toll collection system implementation and establishment of the Malaysian Transport Safety Board will dominate today’s Dewan Rakyat proceedings.
According to the parliamentary Order Paper, Zahir Hassan will question the Works Minister about evaluation parameters for Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology pilot tests.
He will also seek updates on the JustGo application usage at tolled highways and metric standards for assessing MLFF system time reliability.
Shaharizukirnain Abd Kadir will ask the Transport Minister about constraints delaying the MTSB formation, proposed nearly 11 years ago to strengthen transport sector safety.
Suhaizan Kaiat will question the Home Minister about government strategies to ensure national security and prevent public unrest similar to incidents in Indonesia and Nepal.
He specifically wants to know measures addressing cost-of-living pressures, policy dissatisfaction, and social-political issues.
Datuk Dr Alias Razak will ask the Health Minister about plans to expand healthy food aid to children aged three and below.
He noted implementation costs are lower compared to long-term treatment expenses from malnutrition and stunting.
After the question-and-answer session, parliament will continue committee-level debates on the Supply Bill 2026.
The Third Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 15th Parliament will run for 35 days until December 4. – Bernama
