Malaysia’s women bowlers clinch team gold at SEA Games 2025, defeating Indonesia in the final for the country’s second bowling gold medal.
MALAYSIA’S women bowlers delivered a masterclass to win the team gold medal at the SEA Games Thailand 2025.
The quartet of Sin Li Jane, Natasha Mohamed Roslan, Adania Mohd Redzwan and Nur Hazirah Ramli triumphed over Indonesia 817-773 in the final at Blu-O Rhythm & Bowl.
This victory secured Malaysia’s second gold medal in bowling at the Games.
Li Jane expressed pride in her teammates, particularly highlighting the contributions of the younger members.
“This victory means a lot to us as we were determined to win gold,” she told reporters.
The team had earlier defeated Thailand 865-817 in a commanding semi-final performance.
Malaysia’s first bowling gold was won on Tuesday by Rafiq Ismail and Syazirol Shamsuddin in the men’s doubles.
In the men’s team event, the Malaysian quartet had to settle for bronze after a semi-final loss to the Philippines.
