Missing Johor boy found safe after iPad dispute

A 12-year-old boy reported missing in Taman Bukit Indah has returned home safely after a disagreement with his parents over an iPad.

JOHOR BAHRU: A 12-year-old boy reported missing in Taman Bukit Indah has returned home safely.

Iskandar Puteri district police chief ACP M. Kumarasan said a report was received from the boy’s 47-year-old father at 10.46 am yesterday.

The boy, identified as Tang Hong Jun, is believed to have left home after not being allowed to use an iPad.

He is believed to have hidden in an empty house near his residence before returning safely.
