ETS operations between Sungkai and Slim River resume after repairs to the electrification system, with passengers advised to expect temporary delays.
KUALA LUMPUR: Electric Train Service (ETS) operations along the Sungkai–Slim River route have been restored.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) confirmed the resumption after repairs to the line’s electrification system were completed at 10.05 am.
The disruption was caused by a tree that had fallen at KM268.795 along the route.
“Passengers should, however, expect temporary delays on some ETS routes as schedules and train movements are readjusted,” KTMB stated.
Recovery actions are ongoing to ensure services return to full, stable, and scheduled operations.
KTMB thanked passengers for their patience and cooperation throughout the disruption.
The national rail operator also apologised for any inconvenience caused.
For further updates, the public is advised to follow KTMB’s official social media channels.
