DAVID Beckham's (pix) Belstaff line is inspired by vintage clothing.
The retired soccer star's first capsule collection for the brand made its debut on Tuesday and comprises of 10 motorbiking pieces the father-of-four would wear in everyday life.
He told WWD: "My moto capsule collection is a reflection of what I wear day to day when I'm biking or relaxing. I buy a lot of vintage pieces and my collection reflects that feel. It all fits together and I wear every item in it."
David - who has children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine, and two-year-old daughter Harper with his wife Victoria Beckham - is also the face of Belstaff's 2014 global ad campaign and jumped at the chance to work with the company.
He added: "Deciding to work with Belstaff was the easiest decision to make, as I already have a few vintage Belstaff classic jackets in my wardrobe. That, coupled with the fact I'm a biker, made it a perfect fit."
Retail prices for David's clothing line range from US$95 for a basic T-shirt to US$695 for boots and US$1,950 for a leather jacket. – Bang Media
