Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence inaugurates US$11m simulator

SHAH ALAM: Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence (AACE), the joint venture between AirAsia and aviation training provider CAE, today inaugurated a new A330 CAE 7000XR Series full-flight simulator worth US$10 million -US$11 million.
The new simulator is located at the AACE training centre in Glenmarie here, bringing the total number of full-flight simulators at all AACE centres to 12.
This investment represents an important step in positioning AACE as a premier institution in aviation training within the region.
AACE supports pilot training needs of over 35 airline customers through the delivery training courses including type-rating on Airbus A320, A330 and Boeing 737NG platforms.
