2 foreigners charged for the murder of a Grab driver

KUALA LUMPUR: Two foreigners, one each from India and Myanmar, were today charged at the Selayang magistrate's court for the murder of a Grab driver whose body was found in Taman Selayang Makmur in Gombak, here, last month.
No plea was recorded from Sua Lay, 33, from Myanmar who is a vegetable seller and holds a UNHCR card and Gurpreet Singh, 23, a lorry attendant from India.
They were brought before magistrate Nurul Izzah Hasan Basri. Both the accused nodded their heads that they understood the charges read to them.
The duo were charged with killing Aiman Nosri, 27, in a carpark, behind Block C, Taman Selayang Makmur, Selayang Baru, Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur at about 10.08pm on June 21.
They were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
The court set August 27 for remention of the case and submission of medical reports.
Aiman's body was found in the back seat of his car at about 8.20pm on June 23. Post-mortem reports revealed he died from suffocation. His wallet and cellphone were missing.
