Cops smash drug syndicate in Johor Baru

KUALA LUMPUR: Police detained eight individuals for processing syabu and being part of a drug-peddling syndicate in Johor Baru recently.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) also seized other drugs namely ketamine and cocaine and three pistols.
"Congatulations to the STING@PDRMsia for nabbing eight suspects involved in a syndicate processing Syabu and seizure of Cocaine, Ketamine and three pistols ,#GoPDRMGo," Khalid said via his official Twitter account today.
He also shared two photos, one showing the chemical apparatus to process drugs and another of the seized pistols and live bullets.
The press conference related to the latest success is expected to be held soon.
