Hartalega's share price up 3% on higher Q2 net profit

PETALING JAYA: Hartalega Holdings Bhd saw its share price rise 3% this morning after announcing a 59.8% jump in its net profit for the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2017.
At 11.10am, its share price rose 3% or 24 sen to RM8.24 with a total of 1.08 million shares changing hands.
During the quarter, Hartalega’s net profit rose 59.8% to RM113.7 million from RM71.1 million a year ago due to an increase in sales revenue and improvement in productivity.
Revenue for the quarter rose 33.8% to RM584.6 million from RM436.98 million a year ago.
