Mild earthquake hits Niah, Miri

KUALA LUMPUR: A magnitude 3.9 mild earthquake hit Niah, on the south of Miri, Sarawak at 5.52pm today.
The Meteorological Department in a statement said the epicentre was located 429km west of Tarakan, Indonesia and 95km south of Miri.
Tremors were felt in Niah.
No tsunami warning was issued. — Bernama
