NWP shares active, rise 3.77% on aborted deal

PETALING JAYA: NWP Holdings Bhd's share price rose one sen or 3.77% this morning, after it aborted plans to acquire a stake in private charter air transport services company Aviation AI Inc (AAI).
At 10.58am, the stock, which was among the top active counters, stood at 27.5 sen with 15.9 million shares changing hands. It has a market capitalisation of RM107.87 million.
Yesterday, NWP said it has terminated the share sale agreement on the acquisition of 30% equity interest in AAI by NWP Builder Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
