Samsung Galaxy S8 unboxed

SAMSUNG Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd today unboxed the latest flagship device, the Galaxy S8 at an event in Kuala Lumpur for selected journalists who were the first to get to feel and play with the S8.
The S8 is slimmer than its predecessor, S7 and has no home button. All you need to do it to fire up the device and double tapped on the screen to open it up. To access the apps, just slide up or down. It's as simple as that.
Galaxy S8 builds on the Samsung's heritage of creating stunning designs and functional devices. With its infinity display and bezel-less design, the device is compact and has a smooth, continuous surface with no angles and curved on both sides, making it convenient for multi-tasking.
Presenting the device and its functionality was Julian Thean, senior product manager, IT and Mobile business unit, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
The Galaxy S8 is available in 5.8 inch Galaxy S8 and 6.2 inch Galaxy S8+ and priced at RM3,299 and RM3,699 respectively.
In conjunction with the unveiling of the S8, Samsung also introduced new Gear VR with Controller, Expanding Gear VR Ecosystem to make VR experience easier and more enjoyable, as well as the Samsung DeX device which enables productivity for mobile workers by extending the smartphone to a desktop environment.
