Unpleasant surprise for Salak Tinggi residents who find huge python

SEPANG: There was a slippery surprise awaiting residents near a factory at Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi here when they found a huge python in the neighbourhood.
A spokesman from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said they received a distress call that a huge python was spotted in front of a chicken-processing factory in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi at around 11pm on Tuesday night.
"Firemen from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Fire Station who were dispatched to the scene managed to trap the 6m-long python in 15 minutes," he said.
The reptile was later released into a forest reserve, far away from residential areas.
