WCT shares up 3.23% on new contract

    PETALING JAYA: WCT Holdings Bhd's share price continued to rise by 3 sen or 3.23% this morning, after its wholly owned unit WCT Bhd bagged a RM1.77 billion contract for the construction and completion of Pavilion Damansara Heights, Parcel 1.

    At 11.08am, the stock, which was among the top active counters, stood at 96 sen with 9.03 million shares changing hands.
    The group told the stock exchange yesterday, it accepted the letter of award from Impian Ekspresi Sdn Bhd last Friday.
    The scope of works under the 38-month contract includes the execution and completion of nine blocks of office tower, three blocks of service apartment on a podium block comprising retail space, mezzanine floors, lower ground floor and basement car park.
    The contract is expected to commence this month.
