Kerajaan selesaikan bayaran balik lebihan cukai 2023 dan 2024 tahun ini

Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim umumkan bayaran balik lebihan cukai taksiran 2023 dan 2024 akan diselesaikan sepenuhnya pada tahun ini, melibatkan RM22.5 bilion.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kerajaan akan menyelesaikan sepenuhnya bayaran balik lebihan cukai bagi tahun taksiran 2023 dan 2024 pada tahun ini.

Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim berkata jumlah bayaran balik lebihan cukai mencecah RM22.5 bilion pada 2024, yang merupakan tertinggi dalam tempoh lima tahun.

Beliau yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata keputusan mempercepat bayaran balik itu dibuat dengan mengambil kira pandangan rakyat.

“Kita mendengar pandangan, kegelisahan rakyat terutama syarikat-syarikat kecil,” katanya dalam Amanat Tahun Baharu 2026 pada Majlis Perhimpunan Bulanan Jabatan Perdana Menteri.

Anwar turut memaklumkan bahawa Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) telah berjaya menyelesaikan sejumlah 3.7 juta kes bayaran balik lebihan cukai pada 2025.
