Chin Hin Group champions workplace excellence

KUALA LUMPUR: Chin Hin Group Bhd secured five awards across the group and its listed subsidiaries at the recent HR Asia Awards 2025

The landmark achievement across its listed subsidiaries — Ajiya Bhd, Signature International Bhd, and Fiamma Holdings Bhd- reinforces Chin Hin’s strong commitment to a unified, people-centric culture rooted in One Vision, One Culture, a philosophy that integrates HR practices, values, and talent strategies across its entire business ecosystem.

In addition to being named among the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025, Chin Hin also won the HR Asia Tech Empowerment Awards 2025, reflecting the group’s progress in digitalising HR operations and enhancing employee experience.

The five awards received are Chin Hin for HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025 and HR Asia Tech Empowerment Awards 2025, Ajiya for HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025, Signature for HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025 and Fiamma for HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025.

“This collective achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to a shared purpose that drives us to create exemplary workplaces under the Chin Hin banner.

“Winning these awards across the board reinforces that our unified approach in nurturing talent, fostering inclusion, embracing innovation and delivering a superior employee experience everywhere we operate.

“By aligning on shared goals, we are shaping a culture of excellence that connects every team, every location, under one vision,” Chin Hin group chief transformation officer Abel Saw said in a statement.

Chin Hin Building Materials Division group CEO Ng Wai Luen said while each subsidiary operates in its distinct market, the company is powered by One Vision – a unified HR philosophy focused on strategically investing in our people and the supporting infrastructure.

“Together, these actions create a cohesive, innovative workplace where people feel valued, empowered, and equipped to thrive — reinforcing Chin Hin’s standing as a preferred employer in Malaysia,” he said.

Chin Hin’s HR excellence is anchored on group-wide initiatives that streamline culture, enhance experience, and strengthen organisational capability.

These include cohesive values across all subsidiaries, where a unified culture empowers employees to feel valued and respected across all operating companies.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), the group continues to cultivate an inclusive workplace across generations, cultures, and abilities, building on its HR Asia DEI Award 2024.

Empathetic leadership, where employee-focused policies, including a 200% increase in benefits investment over the past two years, have been implemented to enhance well-being and peace of mind.

Digital workforce transformation, where Chin Hin’s Smart Workforce Transformation initiative, recognised by PIKOM, equips employees with AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to improve productivity.
