“The roadshows and branch extended hours are for the convenience of both individual and SME customers. No appointments are required and customers just need to walk in to the designated venues. Customers are encouraged to bring along relevant supporting documents such as salary slips, letter from employer or bank statements to expedite the process,” Maybank said.

For the customers who are unable to attend the roadshows, the bank has also prepared three channels to apply for repayment assistance package, namely applying online via Maybank2u, via email, or visiting or calling any of its branches SME centres or auto finance centres nationwide.

“With the moratorium ending on Sept 30, the bank wishes to encourage its customers who need extended support to come and meet its financial advisors for free advisory services or to apply for repayment assistance,” it said.
