Bas percuma mudahkan mobiliti pelancong Tahun Melawat Johor 2026

JOHOR BAHRU: Kerajaan Negeri akan menyediakan perkhidmatan bas percuma bagi memudahkan pergerakan pelancong yang berkunjung ke bandaraya Johor Bahru sempena Tahun Melawat Johor 2026.

Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi berkata kemudahan itu turut bertujuan memberi keselesaan kepada pelancong selain memastikan pergerakan mereka lebih lancar meskipun beberapa projek pembangunan sedang dijalankan di kawasan terbabit.

Beliau menegaskan kerja pembinaan di bandar ini adalah sebahagian daripada pembangunan dan tidak menjadi kekangan kepada kedatangan pelancong.

Onn Hafiz berkata pelbagai kerja menaik taraf jalan raya dan kemudahan pelancongan sedang dilaksanakan sebagai persediaan menerima kehadiran pelancong sempena kempen berkenaan.

Beliau turut menyatakan pergerakan keluar masuk pelancong di pintu sempadan dijangka lebih lancar dengan penggunaan teknologi seperti sistem kod respons pantas di kaunter imigresen.

Dua ekor harimau belang spesies Panthera Tigris yang dilahirkan di Zoo Johor, iaitu Cuping dan Jucy, dipilih sebagai maskot rasmi Tahun Melawat Johor 2026.

Slogan “Meh Lah Johor!” turut diumumkan sebagai tagline rasmi kempen, menggambarkan ajakan mesra rakyat Johor yang mengalu-alukan kedatangan pelancong. – Bernama

AWC posts steady Q1 revenue at RM97.6m, expects momentum to strengthen in coming quarters

AWC Bhd reported a 3.4% year-on-year increase in revenue to RM97.6 million for the first quarter of FY26, driven by stronger contributions from its engineering division. Net profit, however, eased to RM4.1 million due to slower project progress in the Middle East under the environment division.
