A Malaysian mother recently did just that with a sweet gesture for her five-year-old daughter — a moment that may well become a core childhood memory.
In a Threads post, user @linahjdh_ shared how she dressed her daughter, Belle, as a miniature Malaysia Airlines (MAS) air hostess during their flight.
Belle wore a green batik outfit inspired by MAS cabin crew uniforms, complete with a sleek bun, bright pink lipstick and a small black handbag.
According to the mother, Belle repeatedly thanked her for the makeover, saying it made her extremely happy.
Photos shared online showed the young girl cheerfully posing with cabin crew members and pilots, spreading smiles not only to herself but also to those around her.
When netizens asked whether Belle aspired to become an air hostess, her mother replied that her daughter’s ambitions change frequently.
“One moment an air hostess, the next a police officer, then a dentist,” she joked.
She also explained that the uniform was originally bought for a Children’s Day celebration at Belle’s kindergarten, where pupils were asked to dress according to different occupations.
“Then I thought of dressing her up during the flight so she could see the real air hostesses,” she added. “She was happy.”
