Subang petrol station staff hand out free curry puffs to Malaysians sheltering from rain

He added that the curry puffs were distributed to everyone who had stopped at the Subang petrol station to seek shelter from the rain.

A Malaysian man was pleasantly surprised during an unplanned stop at a petrol station along NKVE Subang after heavy rain forced him to take shelter.

While waiting on his motorcycle for the downpour to subside, a petrol station staff member approached him and handed him a paper bag.

“When I looked inside, there were steaming hot curry puffs,” he said.

According to the man, the staff member told him, “Take it, boss bought it,” explaining that the food was provided by the station’s owner.

He added that the curry puffs were distributed to everyone who had stopped at the petrol station to seek shelter from the rain.

“It was truly a blessing — it was raining heavily, and my stomach was already growling,” he shared.

The grateful man ended by saying, “May Allah repay the petrol station owner with multiplied blessings and sustenance.”

His experience has since gone viral on Threads, with many Malaysians sharing their own memorable experiences at the same petrol station.

“Hehe, I had the same experience too. I dropped by Petronas NKVE in the afternoon just to hang out and eat curry puffs. The Petronas owner came up to me and asked if the curry puffs were good. I told him they were definitely good — that’s why I was willing to come all the way there just to eat them.

“Not long after that, the owner gave me two curry puffs for free. Alhamdulillah, he’s very generous,” commented zuriniahamad.
