Joy Splash
JOY brought her first solo concert tour to Malaysia with 2026 Joy Asia Tour (Joy Splash) in Kuala Lumpur on April 25.
The Red Velvet member performed for more than 1,500 ReVeluvs, opening the show with Hello before continuing with Je T’aime and La Vie En Bleu.

During concert
She also performed several songs from K-drama soundtracks, including Introduce Me a Good Person, My Lips Like Warm Coffee, Yeowooya and Shiny Boy. Joy, whose real name is Park Soo-young, greeted fans warmly and said she had missed them.
“I really missed you all. It is great to gather and meet again like this.”
The concert also featured dance performances to Red Velvet hits Red Flavour, Feel My Rhythm and Peek-a-Boo, drawing strong reactions from the crowd.
The show took a more personal turn when Joy read letters from fans. One fan shared her work had helped them feel safe while dealing with anxiety.
“Your work makes me feel safe and touches my heart,” Joy read, prompting cheers from the audience.

Another highlight came during an interactive segment, when Joy performed Ice Cream Cake a cappella with ReVeluvs singing along.
She also performed Love Splash, Day by Day, Happy Birthday to You and Scent of Green.
Fan interactions
The concert included fan interactions, messages and a drawing guessing game, giving Joy the chance to connect with the audience beyond the stage performances.
“I am very happy today, thank you so much. Seeing all of you share sweet moments and enjoy Joy Splash makes me feel I made the right decision with this tour,” she said.

The encore included Red Velvet favourites Zimzalabim, You Better Know and Hello.
Fans at the show said they were satisfied with Joy’s solo performance but hoped to see Red Velvet return as a full group. One fan, Wani, 30, said Joy was her “first love” in Red Velvet.
“I fell in love with her voice,” she said, adding that she first discovered Joy through the reality programme We Got Married.
Another fan described Joy as a strong performer with an appealing personality. The starlet’s Malaysian concert follows other recent Red Velvet-related shows in the country.

Irene and Seulgi brought their Balance world tour to Mega Star Arena last September, while Wendy performed her W: Ealive tour at Zepp Kuala Lumpur in December 2025.
Many ReVeluvs are now hoping the members will reunite for a concert after their solo activities and tours.
