KOTA KINABALU: A group of 18 Korean tourists were injured when the bus they were travelling in skidded and overturned while going downhill in Jalan Kelawat, Kota Belud, this afternoon.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department said it received a telephone call at 5.39pm before teams from the Kota Belud and Tuaran Fire Stations were sent to the location.
“The accident involved a tourist bus which was travelling from Kota Kinabalu to ke Kota Belud. The bus skidded and overturned while going downhill.
“The injured victims were given early treatment by the Emergency Medical Rescue Service and ambulance crew before they were sent to the Kota Belud Hospital for further treatment,” the department said in a statement here today. — Bernama
