KUALA LUMPUR: The police are expected to call a few more people for questioning to facilitate investigation into the death of a commando officer who died in a shooting demonstration at Lok Kawi Camp in Sabah last Wednesday.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah, when contacted, said the police had recorded a statement from the victim’s colleague, aged 37, who was arrested after the incident, and released on police bail after his statement was taken on the same day.

“Investigation into the incident is ongoing and the police will be calling a few more people for questioning soon,” he added.

Yesterday, the Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador said the police were conducting a thorough investigation, including to identify the actual cause of the incident.
