JOHOR BARU: Pakatan Harapan (PH) should unite and work together to ensure that the pact continues to be strong, said Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Dr. Sahruddin Jamal (pix).
He added the foundation of the party’s struggle must be continued, and the feelings of ego and neglect after becoming the government should be set aside.
“When there are four parties (Bersatu, Amanah, Parti Keadilan Rakyat, and DAP), the turmoil will surely exist. But have to keep in mind the spirit of unity although four, but if we are united, we can be together.
“This is proven during the 14th General Election (GE14) although newly established in two years, but with the strength of the four parties, we formed a government,” he said during a casual chat with Pasir Gudang Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda (Armada) (Youth) here last night.
Dr Sahruddin also said that he always strove to maintain the trust that the people had given him.
“I have been entrusted to serve as Johor Mentri Besar, even though I am just an ordinary person. However, when we have been given the trust of the voters, we must strive to ensure that all promises can be fulfilled,” he said.
At the same time, Dr. Sahruddin also urged the younger generation to continue the party’s struggle to become stronger. — Bernama
