ON March 27, Daikin Malaysia sponsored 36 Daikin Streamer air purifiers worth a total of RM54,000 to seven local hospitals located in Pahang, Johor, Penang, and Sabah with the latter state’s air purifiers being delivered this week.

“We understand the urgency of the situation and how important it is for our local hospitals to get clean air especially since most hospitals are currently very occupied and busy.

“As our frontliners are working very hard and doing their best every day in handling and caring for the needs of our community, we at Daikin would just like to appreciate and show support to them as well as the hospital patients through this small gesture.

“We want to ensure that they are in a better environment with cleaner air even in the midst of their hectic work schedules during this difficult time for our nation,” said Lawrence Song, General Manager of Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd.

Under this corporate social responsibility initiative, Daikin Malaysia has collaborated with NGO MedTweetMY with the sponsoring of the Daikin Streamer air purifiers to the following hospitals: Hospital Seberang Jaya; Hospital Pulau Pinang; Hospital Sultanah Aminah; Hospital Sultan Ismail Johor Baru; Hospital Sultan Hj Ahmad Shah; Hospital Tawau; Hospital Duchess of Kent, with two air purifier models namely, MC70TVMM and MCK55UVMM equipped with Daikin Japanese Streamer technology.

Both parties are hopeful that through this initiative, the respective hospitals will get the help they need in ensuring a cleaner air for everyone, especially the staffs and patients within the hospitals.
