Negeri Sembilan police chief says PDRM serves as crucial educational partner in moulding morally upright youth.
KUALA PILAH: The Royal Malaysia Police plays a vital role as an educational partner in shaping disciplined and morally upright youth, particularly in facing today’s social challenges.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said PDRM’s duties extend beyond law enforcement to include community guidance.
He emphasised that young people should be instilled with patriotism and respect for the law.
“Every action reflects personal and family values,” he said during the state-level Sekolah Angkat MADANI programme launch at SK Ampang Tinggi.
“Students must follow school rules, respect teachers, and avoid misconduct.”
He urged youth to reject all forms of crime including gangsterism, bullying, vandalism, and social media misuse.
Through the MADANI adopted school initiative, PDRM collaborates with educational institutions to strengthen student discipline, character, and safety.
The programme supports holistic student development covering academics, moral values, and personal identity.
It aligns with Malaysia MADANI’s focus on humanity, wellbeing, and societal unity.
The Finance Ministry allocated RM100,000 to improve school infrastructure for a comfortable learning environment.
Separately, Alzafny reported a couple was fined RM3,000 each for obstructing public servants after evading police for nearly an hour.
Investigations revealed they fled because they feared being caught for committing khalwat while in a car at night. – Bernama
