Melaka returns to normal after the last temporary flood relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tehel closes at 1.35 pm today.
MELAKA: The flood situation in Melaka has returned to normal following the closure of the last temporary relief centre (PPS) at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tehel in Jasin at 1.35 pm today.
The State Disaster Management Committee secretariat, in a statement, said that all relevant agencies had carried out the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the orderly closure of the relief centre.
“The chairman of the Jasin District Disaster Committee, who is also the Jasin district officer, expressed his appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all agencies for their excellent cooperation throughout the operation of the relief centre,” it said.
