Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim urges Felda to resolve long-standing second-generation housing and land ownership issues without further delay.
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wants the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) to redouble its efforts to resolve issues that have long plagued settlers, especially those involving second-generation housing and land ownership.
In a Facebook post today, he said the issues cannot be left to drag on and called for immediate action that is focused on the interests of FELDA residents.
“Every problem needs to be carefully examined and followed up with a clear solution plan,” he said.
Anwar said the MADANI Government will continue to strengthen FELDA and ensure that every effort implemented truly benefits the settlers and their families.
