BEIJING: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 jolted east of the South Sandwich Islands region at 0303 GMT on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said.
According to Xinhua, the epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 60.8035 degrees south latitude and 20.0169 degrees west longitude. – Bernama
