A man and woman were found deceased at the Brentwood home of director Rob Reiner, with robbery-homicide detectives investigating the case
LOS ANGELES: Two people were found dead at the Southern California mansion of director and actor Rob Reiner.
Local broadcaster NBCLA reported the discovery at the Brentwood property on Friday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed a man and a woman, approximately 78 and 68 years old, were found deceased inside.
Robbery-homicide division detectives have been assigned to investigate the case.
Neighbours and property records confirm the home belongs to Reiner and his wife.
Reiner rose to fame as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the 1970s sitcom “All in the Family.”
He later transitioned to directing, helming the 1984 mockumentary “This is Spinal Tap.”
Reiner is best known for directing the 1989 romantic comedy “When Harry Met Sally.” – Reuters
