VETERAN Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has signed a new contract with Inter Miami for the upcoming season.
The Major League Soccer club announced the deal on Wednesday, securing the 38-year-old for another year.
Suarez joined the team in 2024, reuniting with former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi.
He played a pivotal role in Inter Miami’s historic 2025 campaign, helping the club secure the MLS Cup and the Eastern Conference Championship.
The club credited his vast experience and leadership as crucial to their success.
Suarez also contributed to strong international performances, including a run to the round of 16 in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
He featured in 50 appearances across all competitions during the 2025 season.
The former Barcelona, Liverpool, and Atletico Madrid star scored 17 goals and provided 17 assists.
His total of 34 goal contributions underscored his continued impact on the pitch.
