Vivo opens Southeast Asia’s first image art space & concept store at IOI City Mall

vivo launches Southeast Asia’s first Image Art Space & Concept Store at IOI City Mall, showcasing the vivo X300 Series and immersive photography experiences.

VIVO Malaysia has officially launched Southeast Asia’s first integrated vivo Image Art Space & Concept Store at IOI City Mall, marking a new chapter in experiential retail that blends art, technology and hands-on consumer engagement.

The grand opening, held on Saturday (Feb 7), showcases the brand’s flagship vivo X300 Series alongside immersive photography experiences, exclusive workshops and opening promotions worth up to RM1,070.

Designed as a gallery-like environment rather than a conventional retail outlet, the vivo Image Art Space allows visitors to explore vivo’s advanced imaging technology through interactive installations and curated zones.

To mark the launch, vivo is offering limited-time flash sales, with selected items priced at RM1, special discounts on popular models, and premium gift bundles for purchases of the vivo X300 Series.

At the centre of the experience is the vivo X300 Series, powered by ZEISS imaging technology. Visitors can participate in several interactive photography zones, including the ZEISS Telephoto Moon Shot experience, where users can capture lunar details and uncover a hidden “Man from the Moon” surprise.

Other highlights include a Macro Aquarium Exploration using Super Macro Mode, a Nightscape Miniature Zone showcasing Landscape and Night Mode, and a Portrait Casting Interaction featuring ZEISS Multi-Focal Portrait Snapshot and real-time phone projection.

Throughout the launch weekend, guests can also take part in the Check-In Challenge, which requires completing three imaging tasks to redeem exclusive gifts. A free photobooth offering professional photo shoots and printed keepsakes, along with lucky Ang Pao surprises, is also available to visitors.

On Feb 7, vivo is hosting a photography workshop that includes hands-on sessions with complimentary vivo X300 phone rentals, door gifts, refreshments and a lucky draw. Participants stand a chance to win prizes such as a Laifen SE Lite valued at RM239.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by key representatives from vivo Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia and IOI City Mall management.

Among them were vivo Malaysia CEO Mike Xu, Tourism Malaysia Deputy Director General (Promotion II) Samuel Lee Thai Hung, and vivo Malaysia Sales Director Jason Lee, underscoring the significance of the milestone.

According to vivo, the X300 Pro and vivo X300 are engineered for professional-grade mobile photography, offering advanced imaging capabilities and powerful performance to deliver high-quality results across various shooting conditions.

The vivo Image Art Space & Concept Store is located at L2-208, Second Floor, IOI City Mall 2.
